This is important information about busing for Summer School. Summer School will begin on Monday, June 7. Pine Crest students will attend summer school at Pine Crest. Mary Miller Jr. High students and Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School students will attend summer school at Mary Miller Junior High.
Buses for summer school will be leaving the lot at 6:30 AM. Mary Sungail's bus will go east of Georgetown to pick up students that live outside of town. By 7:10 she should be making stops at Park and Whittier, then Park and West 11th St. Following those stops students in the North Trailer Court will be picked up then students on the Horseshoe around 7:20. There will be a stop at East 10th and Newlin at 7:25. Mill Street trailer court will be picked up next, followed by Church and East North 3rd St. and then Kennedy Court, then Oak and Church Street. She will then go to Mary Miller Jr. High. If we have any students that will need to ride the hub to Pine Crest, she will do that after dropping off students.
Amber's bus will start out east of Ridge Farm and then will stop at East Pilot and 1st St., then Owen and 1st., then Elwood and 1st. She will then head to Olivet for stops on Illinois and at the corner of Ash and Center St. After Olivet, she will head to Vermilion Grove.
For afternoon Project Success students in Georgetown, the stops will be the same as the morning route. For students in Ridge Farm, there will be a stop at 11:25 at the Post Office in Ridge Farm. There will also be stops for students that live outside of town.
All preschool students should have received notification that they will be picked up at home or at baby sitters. Times should have been included in that notification.
If no one comes to get your student on Monday morning, or there are issues with busing, please call the Georgetown-Ridge Farm Superintendent's office at 217-662-8488. We will make sure to get your student to school and correct any busing issues.
