Good Afternoon. We have been working closely with VCPH department to schedule COVID 19 vaccines for GRF educators. The GRF faculty and staff are scheduled to receive vaccines on Thursday, January 21, 2021 and Thursday January 28, 2021. In order to get our essential educators vaccinated, we will need to make a change to the remote learning schedule for this week and next. This week, children will participate in full remote learning Wednesday (01-20-21) and Thursday (01-21-21). Next week, students will attend school on Wednesday (01-27-21) and we will do their remote learning day on Thursday (01-28-21). I appreciate your continual flexibility and patience during the pandemic. We are striving to make GRF schools as safe as possible and staff receiving vaccines over the next few weeks is additional safety step that we are taking. Thank you!

Georgetown-Ridge Farm schools would like to remind our families that on Monday, December 7 all 3 schools will be returning to in-person learning. Remote learners will follow the same schedule as they did before Thanksgiving. In-person learners will be in the buildings from 8 - 12 Monday - Friday for the next two weeks. In-person learners will need to bring their school issued devices, charged and ready to go. Bus schedules will be the same as they were prior to Thanksgiving. High school students will need to check their final exam schedules.

Good afternoon,
As COVID continues to spike in our area, we will continue to work together to keep our students, staff, and families safe and healthy. Due to the rising numbers of COVID 19 cases impacting our students and staff at Pine Crest, we are unable to continue face to face learning at this time. Pine Crest Elementary including the PreK will move all students to full remote beginning Wednesday, November 11th through Friday, November 20th. Face to face students will return Monday, November 23rd. Face to face students will bring home necessary supplies.
Devices will be distributed to our K-2 face to face learners tomorrow during the school day. K-2 remote students can pick up their devices in the Pine Crest gym on Wednesday between 3:00-5:00 p.m. Please enter through the East Gym doors. You must wear a mask or face covering and temperatures will be taken at the door.
Breakfast and lunch for the remainder of the week will be provided on Wednesday evening for pick up between 4:00-5:00 p.m. at the cafeteria doors. We will distribute food again on Monday for the week of November 16th.
Project Success will be cancelled as well and resume after Thanksgiving break.
Again, thank you for working with us as we continue to provide a safe learning environment for all.

GLCC (Georgetown Ladies Community Club) is excited to share our first annual Mrs. Claus Workshop. This is a community based service project to assist our Georgetown-Ridge Farm families this holiday season. We have been receiving a lot of questions about Chromebooks. The new Chromebooks we have ordered have not been delivered. As soon as those come in, we will notify parents to pick them up. The pick up today, Thursday Aug. 20, is for specific items that families were previously contacted about. Until the new Chromebooks arrive, you can use your own devices, including Ipad, laptop, desktop. Even though it is not ideal, you could also use a smart phone to access Google Classroom.
