Superintendent's Message

Welcome to Georgetown-Ridge Farm CUSD #4. As superintendent, I am honored to be part of a district that values excellence in education and community partnership in support of our young people. The district serves the communities of Georgetown, Ridge Farm, and Olivet located in East Central Illinois. The Georgetown-Ridge Farm professional educators serve approximately 1200 students and include one elementary (K-5), one junior high school (6-8), one high school (9-12), and an early childhood center located at Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School. We are fortunate to have excellent and committed educators and bright and innovative students. At Georgetown-Ridge Farm Schools we share a common vision:

Success for today: through the active involvement of students, parents, educators, and the community
Preparation for tomorrow: to obtain critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving skills to become effective, creative, and caring members of a diverse society
Learning for a lifetime: assures well-informed, productive citizens for the future

Thank you for taking the opportunity to explore our new website. You will find information about all aspects of the district, including school board business, informational resources for families, school building activities and calendars, and contact information. Please know, your input is encouraged and appreciated. Together, we will continue to support and chart a course for success for the students of Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District. I am excited to see the many academic accomplishments and personal achievements our students will obtain in the upcoming year.
