This week, students have been learning about the power of courage through the stories of influential leaders and discussing ways they can show bravery in their own lives. šŖāØ Today, the class got to put their creativity to work by designing their very own āShields of Courageā š”ļøāa perfect way to express what courage means to them. ā¤

Pine Crest is incredibly proud of our archery team for an outstanding performance at the Danville Viking Classic! They placed second among all elementary schools! Great Job!

Kindergarten students participated in a ābook tastingā today to get excited about the many new books they will explore during ELA this quarter! Students got the chance to get a ātasteā of each book by flipping through and discussing the things they noticed and wondered.

Christmas is coming soon, so second grade is having fun this week learning about the different elements of Christmas! Students in Mr. Herrinās class spent today learning about Christmas trees. The students enjoyed building and eating their own yummy Christmas trees.
