🍬🎃 Sweet Science in Action! 🎃🍬
Our 7th Grade Enrichment students put their creativity (and candy) to the test! Each student launched pieces of Halloween candy down the hallway to see which design could make it the farthest. 🚀🍭
It was a perfect mix of fun, problem-solving, and a little friendly competition — with plenty of laughter along the way!

Last week, some of our students had the incredible opportunity to attend the FFA National Convention in Indianapolis! 🇺🇸
During the event, students explored at least three college booths of interest and attended two engaging student workshops — all while connecting with FFA members and advisors from across the country. A few even took on the fun challenge of finding students from all 50 states!
With over 73,000 members in attendance, it was an unforgettable experience for both our students and advisors. We’re so proud of their excitement for leadership, learning, and growth through FFA!

Last Friday marked the kickoff of our RCA House Challenge for the year, and what an exciting start! The relay race was fast-paced and intense, with all the Houses battling neck and neck the entire time. In the end, Rêveur pulled ahead to claim the victory! 🐺🏆🔥
The RCA House system brings our students together through friendly competition, teamwork, and school spirit—and this first challenge showed just how much pride and determination our Panthers have. Huge shoutout to everyone who participated and cheered on their Houses. We can’t wait to see what the next challenge brings!

Mary Miller Junior High had their very first House Challenge today, a Halloween relay race! The energy in the gym was truly indescribable as students cheered for all the houses. Our winner of the first house challenge was....... RÊVEUR!
We are so proud of our students who put themselves out there and participated in the relay, and we can't wait for our future house challenges!

🎉 It’s Finally Here, MMJH! 🎉
Tomorrow afternoon, we’ll wrap up the day with our first House Challenge of the year!
All four Houses—Altruismo, Amistad, Isibindi, and Réveur—will go head-to-head in some friendly competition to earn those all-important House points! 💪🔥
Bring your energy, your teamwork, and your House pride—let’s make our first competition one to remember!

Last Wednesday, representatives from Lambert Farms, Such Seeds, Wyffels Hybrids, and Golden Harvest visited the GRHS FFA plot to assist with harvest! Students had the chance to see the equipment in action and talk with professionals who work in the agriculture industry every day.
Some even got to ride in the combine—chatting with the operator and experiencing firsthand what it’s like inside the cab! Despite the chilly weather, it was an incredible day of hands-on learning and real-world experience outside the classroom.
