Last Friday, members of the Mary Miller Junior High Student Council spent time spreading kindness in our community by delivering Valentineβs to residents at a local nursing home.
Students loved getting the chance to brighten someoneβs day with handmade cards, smiles, and conversations. It was a great reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. β€οΈ
We are proud of our Student Council members for representing MMJH and sharing some Valentineβs cheer with others!

One group is getting close to finishing their Starry Night puzzle, while another student is focused on completing a different design. Itβs great to see their patience, teamwork, and persistence come together piece by piece!

π After-School Shopping (during conferences): March 12 & 13 | 4:00β7:00 PM
https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/marymillerjuniorhighschool
Please use this link to see more fair details.. We highly recommend setting up an eWallet for your student to avoid cash being lost at school.. The eWallet is great for those family members who are wanting to donate books to a teacher's classroom, you can just add funds to that teacher's eWallet and they are able to use them to pick out books! Also, if there is anyone in the community wanting to contribute, the 'share the fair' feature is a great way to donate funds to support students at our school who need help getting new books. Your contribution helps even more kids take home a book from the Fair!

Wednesday our Poultry Judging Team (Cheyenne Orr, Cadence Brewer , Ledger Fourez, Wesley English, Jase Blacketer, and Ethan Tovey) placed 2nd out of 10 teams at the Section 18 FFA Poultry Judging Contest!
A huge congratulations to:
β Wesley English β 4th Overall
β Cheyenne Orr β 7th Overall
(out of 55 competitors!)
These students have put in so much work learning how to evaluate laying hens, broilers, exterior and interior egg quality, and carcass grading. Theyβve spent countless hours preparing for this contest, and their dedication truly paid off.
I am so proud of each team member. Not only did they compete well, but they represented our chapter well and even made a few new friends along the way. Congratulations to all of the participants! ππ
