Children will make 4"x4" expression tiles after learning about and viewing the exhibit. The Vermilion County Museum is partnering with the Danville Art League for this event. While this event is FREE, reservations are required as there are only 25 openings for each time slot. The first time slot is 10:00-11:30 AM and the second time slot is 1:00-2:30 PM."

The breakfast and lunch menus for Pine Crest have been updated. There are now separate menus for Pine Crest. You can see the daily menu items under the dining tab on the school page on the website or on the APP. You can also download a printable menu on the Food Service tab on the district webpage.

Good morning! After approximately 19 years of no Halloween costumes permitted, we are excited to announce that costumes are optional at Pine Crest tomorrow, October 29. In order for this to be successful and smooth, we need your help! Students may not wear masks that cover their faces, no blood or gore, and no fake weapons or props. Also, please be sure that your student is able to use the restroom without assistance. Lastly we are not responsible for any costumes that may be ruined during the course of the school day or during the party. We understand that this is a last minute change and greatly apologize for this delay! If you are not prepared to send your child in a costume, we still encourage Halloween socks, hats, or other festive appropriate clothing. Sincerely, Mrs. Vaughn

Tuesday, September 21 is World Cereal and Milk Day. This is a great day to have your student eat school breakfast!

There will be no Project Success after school programs at any school on Wednesday, Sept. 15 due to the Homecoming festivities.

Danville Sunrise Rotary club will be having a basketball camp on October 9 for 1st - 8th grade. You can find more information and how to register here: https://5il.co/ysxs

For Monday, September 13 there will be a change in the menu for Kindergarden, 1st and 2nd grade will be getting Ham Sandwiches and 3rd, 4th and 5th will be getting a Pork or a Chicken Patty. Everything else on the menu is the same.
