Thank you PC Family for the uplifting day.

Today, February 12th we will return to our regular dismissal procedures. Students will be picked up at both the woodchips and the front of the building. If you have any questions about your child's dismissal please reach out to the office.
I would like to thank our families for their patience and understanding while we had to change our dismissal process for an extended period of time due to the snow and cold temperatures. I would also like to send a huge shout out to our hard working staff for their flexibility during this time, and working through the extended process.
Thank you all so much!

December 16, 2025
Dear Families, Community, and Students (PC & MMJH),
It is with a heavy heart that I share an important update regarding the funding of Project Success of Vermilion County. On December 15, 2025, we were notified of the loss of our Full Service Community Schools grant that supports our programs at Pine Crest Elementary and Mary Miller Junior High in Georgetown-Ridge Farm. This unplanned loss has created a financial shortfall that directly impacts our ability to maintain current staffing and program levels. ACT NOW of Illinois, our grantor, has submitted an appeal to the US Department of Education. While we try to remain hopeful, we do not have a guarantee of funding past December 31, 2025. We understand how difficult and unsettling this news is, and we will work hard to find other funding sources to support our after school programs in partnership with Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District. THINGS TO NOTE: 1. All programs: As of January 5, 2026, we will not have bus transportation home for Georgetown-Ridge Farm students. 2. GRHS: All GRHS programs will remain active and open. 3. Pine Crest: As of January 5, 2026, we will provide an afterschool program at Pine Crest Elementary for a limited number of identified students. 4. MMJH: As of January 5, 2026, we will provide an afterschool program at GRHS for a limited number of identified Mary Miller Junior High students. 5. Project Success programs in other districts will remain open. While this is an incredibly difficult moment, our mission remains unchanged. We are actively pursuing new grants, community partnerships, and funding opportunities to sustain and strengthen Project Success programs in the future. We remain deeply committed to the children and families of Georgetown-Ridge Farm and to the staff who make this work possible. Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Kimberly David
CEO Project Success
