This week and next week have away boys basketball games, a Winter Concert at GRHS, and the beginning of Winter Break! Come out and support our young athletes and musicians.
Students in the Investigative Puzzles exploratory class spent their free choice Friday constructing then demolishing a tower taller than the tallest student present while others tested their knowledge with trivia questions. It was an excellent crash!

Join us Nov. 30 for our home game vs Bismarck. Support our Compassion Drive by donating non-perishable food items, toilet paper, hats, gloves, etc. to help out families during the holiday season. These items will be available at the Holiday Hub on Dec. 13. We look forward to seeing you there!

How can we help our kids be more organized? How do other parents motivate their kids to get their homework done? These are questions we will answer at our next Parent Support Team Meeting on Thursday, December 7th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Georgetown Public Library. Dinner and Childcare are included if you register by Wednesday, December 6th. Plus, there will be door prizes too! Hope to see you there.
The GRF Board of Education November Tax Levy Meeting is tomorrow, Monday, November 27, 2023 at 6:00 pm. You are invited to attend the meeting at the Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School Media Center at 500 W. Mulberry St. Come to learn about the School District Tax Levy process. There will be information on area school Districts tax rates and estimated increase in real estate property values too.
Our November Students of the Month were recognized during our assembly today. The word of the month was optimism. Congratulations to Olivia, Jonah, and Oryan! We raised money for Toys for Tots with a pie in the face incentive. Mrs. Gardner and Miss Fellers were the lucky winners! We wrapped up with a mock Scholastic Bowl game. Sign ups are in the office!
Senior Citizen Luncheon on Wednesday, December 6th at 12:00 pm at the High School Gymnasium. We invite all community Senior Citizens to attend. The reservation date has been extended to Monday, November 27th for any senior wishing to attend. Please call 217-662-6716.
