Due to the snow and low temps, track practice will be cancelled today. The gym is not available today. Athletes are encouraged to get a workout in this weekend on their own if at all possible.
The MMJH track meet scheduled for 3/14 at Westville has been cancelled. At this time, no make up date has been set.

MMJH Track team will have a parent meeting this Tuesday at 6:00pm in the MMJH Cafe. Please attend to get pertinent information about the track season for you middle school student.
MMJH Project Success will have a virtual after school program. Project Success students should check the Project Success Google Classroom after school today Feb. 24.

Due to weather conditions, the MMJH Choir singing the National Anthem at the Vermilion County Bobcats Hockey game on 2/4/22 has been postponed. We are working to reschedule and will announce the new date as soon as possible.

We have just received communication that the Armstrong archery tournament for this Saturday has been moved to a virtual tournament due to the weather. We unfortunately will have to cancel our participation in this tournament as we don't have everything needed to participate in a virtual tournament.

The MMJH Volleyball game scheduled for Thursday vs Salt Fork has been moved to February 21st
We are going to move the MMJH Girls basketball recognition day to the February 7th game at the High School. This is Senior Night for the Lady Buffaloes High School Program. In an effort to help blend the programs, we will recognize all the MMJH female basketball athletes at Halftime of the Varsity game. This will basically be a Júnior High Night for our Women's basketball programs. See you all there.
We are going to keep the boys 8th grade night and boys basketball recognition as planned on Feb 11th as previously scheduled.

Due to cancellation of the MMJH 8th grade night earlier this year, the High School and Mr. Thomas have agreed to host these events on Friday, February 11th. Our activities and recognition for the 8th grade boys and cheerleaders will be at halftime of the Varsity game. The JV game (if applicable ) will tip off at 6:00. IF there is not a JV game, the Varsity will start at 6:00. We would ask the 8th grade parents to be there at 6:00 to be in place at halftime. Coaches, please communicate these details with your players and parents. I will push it out on our social media platforms as well.
Additionally we are going to make this a Junior High Night and recognize ALL Boys and Girls basketball and Cheer team members, so please come out and support the entire Buffalo/Panther program.
The 4th and 5th grade VB scheduled at PVO tomorrow has been cancelled. Practice today instead from 4:15 to 5:15 at Pine Crest. The Jan 20th and 24th games are also going to be cancelled.
PVO has had to cancel the game with MMJH today.
We are still having the Chicken Noodle fundraiser for the family affected by the house fire. Food will be available starting at 4:30.
We are likely not going to be able to find a make-up date at this time due to Regionals.
We will be looking to find a way to recognize our 8th grade winter athletes during a MMJH volleyball game in the near future. Details coming soon.

Construction on the front door at MMJH has been completed. We will be back to our normal traffic patterns tomorrow (1/14/2022) morning. Walkers and car riders will enter through the front entrance. We thank you for your cooperation through this process.
