2nd grade students started their countdown to second grade ending today. Every letter in the words second grade is tied to a different activity each day. Today we started with S, which was Surprise Guest Readers! Thank you to Mrs. Ehrich, Mrs. Vaughn and Mr. McCorkle, for picking extra special books to read to us today! We want to wish Mrs. Ehrich many years of fun and relaxation during her retirement!

Please attend the Summer Bash sponsored by the District Parent Support Team (PST) and Project Success. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School. We are having this event to celebrate the end of the school year and the beginning of summer. You are all invited to attend the Summer Bash and bring your families. Dental forms are due May 15th for kindergarten, 2nd, 6th, and 9th grade.
Eye exams for Kindergarten are due May 15.


Today was 3rd Grade's wax museum! The students learned about famous Americans, dressed up as them, created a board, and presented their research to the school and comminity. Everyone did a fantastic job!











Congratulations to Miss Shelby Siddens on completing her 80 days of student teaching, at Pine Crest Elementary School, in Ms. Willoby’s 2nd grade class! The GRF School District wishes you the best on future endeavors as a teacher!




If you received a letter for your child regarding summer school, you must sign and return letter by Friday.

It was an honor to be able to recognize a wonderful teacher like Mrs. Kathy Swick at last nights Golden Ruler Banquet. Thank you so much for your dedication to our district and your love for helping children. You will be greatly missed after your retirement!

Mrs. Crowl's class are real "eggs-perts!" They were able to hatch 21 of their chicks.



Today's Science Fair was a huge success! We had so mamy supportive member from our community come to see the awesome work of these kids. It was amazing! Our 3 runners up were: Mallory Rollins, Caiden Douglass, and Molly Rife.

Tomorrow Pine Crest is having our annual 5th grade Science Fair from 9:00-10:15am in the Pine Crest Cafeteria. This event is open to the public and we would love to see our community parents come support our 5th graders.


On Monday, Kayla Noggle brought her mobile dog grooming trailer “Muddy Buddies” to show our PreK students. She shared about her job as a dog groomer and talked about the tools used to take care of the animals. This was part of our Pets study and discussing, “How do we take care of pets?”







The chicks in Mrs. Crowl's room began to pip and hatch today!



All 8th graders that will be moving up to the high school next school year are invited to join us this Thursday with their parents to learn all about what the high school has to offer them for their freshman year!
