GRHS baseball and softball games have been cancelled due to cold weather.
MMJH Science Teacher, Miss Franzen was awarded a $500 grant from Eastern Illinois Electric Coop. She already has plans for the award to go back to her classroom. We are so proud of her. Thanks to the Empowering Education Grants for supporting our outstanding educators.
The GRF Music Department is hosting a talent show on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 6:00 pm in the GRHS Gym. Any student in grades 6-12 is eligible to compete! Junior Division will be students in grades 6-8; Senior Division will be students in grades 9-12. You do NOT have to be enrolled in a music class to sign up for the talent show! Come show us your skills!
We are looking for performers in all kinds of talent acts. Athletic talents, comedy talents, skits, music, dancing, hoola hoop! If you can dream it up, we want to see you shine!

Proud of our GRHS student archers. Plenty of talent and performed well!
Let the games begin! The Buffalo stampede archery tournament is well under way!
Come out to support our largest team in the district! Our archers shoot tonight, and you will find good, raffle baskets, apparel, and even some games! The Buffalo Stampede is tonight and tomorrow at GRHS.
Mr. Carey's math class had a glowing review game for next week!
Ms K joining students at the end of the day to learn a new card game. She won the first round of spoons! It must be beginners luck.
The Festival of Bands was an amazing event last night! We are very proud of our band students and staff!
REMINDER - Our scheduled 2023 Spring Break is approaching. Next week is a four day week (Monday through Thursday). There will be no school Friday, March 17 through March 26. Students return to school on Monday, March 27th.

5th grade headed out to Forest Glenn today for their maple syrup tour. It looks like everyone had a really great time! Love seeing kids out in nature and smiling.
Reminder - the end of third quarter is Friday, March 10, 2023. Any missing work needs to be turned in before that date.
Report cards will go home with students on Wednesday, March 15th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 15th and Thursday, March 16th from 4 to 7 p.m.
Please contact your building to make an appointment. High School parents do not need to make an appointment and can "walk in" to see teachers.
