On Friday, 2nd grade students in Mrs. Davis's class finished their Social Studies lesson on communities. Students were able to work together to make sure they had places to live, work and play within their community. By the end, 2 large communities were built, engagement was happening and students were learning while having fun!

Students in Mrs. Davis's 2nd grade class had some fun in the hallway learning about the word, stampede, from their Wit and Wisdom lesson. Needless to say, everyone had fun stampeding down the hallway!

🤟 Students in our Sign Language class at MMJH are starting off by learning the alphabet and practicing their fingerspelling skills. We’re excited to watch them grow in this new language throughout the quarter!
In Miss Cavanaugh’s Media Literacy class, students are diving into the media of the past! Wednesday’s discussion centered around influential figures like Laura Ingalls Wilder from Little House on the Prairie and how stories and icons from history have shaped the way media has evolved. Such a fun way to connect past media to the world students see today!
Softball made lemonade out of lemons when the other team didn't show due to them double booking. We adapted and overcame by pulling a scrimmage together.
