GLCC (Georgetown Ladies Community Club) is excited to share our first annual Mrs. Claus Workshop. This is a community based service project to assist our Georgetown-Ridge Farm families this holiday season. Please fill out the Google form application by November 1st if your family needs the help this Holiday season. Details are posted on the form and in the event. With the help of our generous community members and volunteers we hope to bring Christmas to as many in our community as we can get adopted. For our remote learners we will have food distribution this evening from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at your child's school. This is only for remote learners that signed up for weekly pick-up. Students that are face-to-face are receiving breakfast and lunch at school. If you have any questions, please call your child's school. Thank you.

The Board of Education approved continuing remote learning through the end of the first quarter. Students will return to in-person learning at the start of the second quarter on October 19. Students will be in school until noon, Monday - Friday with remote learning in the afternoon. Parents will have the option to keep their students full remote. More information will be posted soon.

We have been receiving a lot of questions about Chromebooks. The new Chromebooks we have ordered have not been delivered. As soon as those come in, we will notify parents to pick them up. The pick up today, Thursday Aug. 20, is for specific items that families were previously contacted about. Until the new Chromebooks arrive, you can use your own devices, including Ipad, laptop, desktop. Even though it is not ideal, you could also use a smart phone to access Google Classroom. We will continue to update our families as we get information about the Chromebooks.
