Dear Parents/Guardians,
We received a phone call from the Vermilion County Police Dispatch at approximately 2:45 pm notifying the High School that the 9-1-1 Dispatch received a cell phone call where the dispatcher heard loud voices and two bangs. The cell tower pinged the location of the caller to the North-East corner of the High School parking lot. Police arrived to investigate. All buildings were immediately put on soft lock down and all students on campus quickly returned back into the buildings. Police investigated and cleared the area. All students and staff are safe. Many thanks to the Vermilion County 9-1-1 Dispatch and the rapid response of law enforcement.

GRF Summer Bash: Thursday, May 30th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at Pine Crest Elementary. Kick off the beginning of summer with free games, treats, and fun for the whole family--bouncy houses, dunk tank, 9-square, football bowling, popcorn, snow cones, and more. This event is sponsored by the GRF Parent Support Team & Project Success.

On May 6th our Softball and Baseball teams are hosting a Swing for a Cure Night to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The GRHS Choir will be singing the National Anthem and the GRHS Band will be playing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game." Donations can be made by using the link or the QR code.
