Franklin Sullivan, Legend Hughes, and Cole Turner participated in the open tournament where they were competing for individual medals. Legend Hughes brought back the 5th place medal and Franklin Sullivan brought back the 2nd place medal! This was their first tournament and they all did a great job!

Missy Buhr, the ag literacy coordinator with the Vermilion County Farm Bureau, visits classrooms every other month to teach a lesson about agriculture. This year she has provided teachers with lessons to do on the months she does not visit. Mrs. Esteppe’s class completed a fun lesson all about pumpkins today. We learned about the lifecycle of a pumpkin, and some fun facts. We ended the lesson by making and enjoying a yummy pumpkin treat!
