Missy Buhr, the ag literacy coordinator with the Vermilion County Farm Bureau, visits classrooms every other month to teach a lesson about agriculture. This year she has provided teachers with lessons to do on the months she does not visit. Mrs. Esteppe’s class completed a fun lesson all about pumpkins today. We learned about the lifecycle of a pumpkin, and some fun facts. We ended the lesson by making and enjoying a yummy pumpkin treat!
