In Miss Cavanaugh’s exploratory, a debate sparked after learning about the history of media literacy and how to stay savvy online! Students turned gamers into debaters, discussing video game effects, desensitization, and what games are appropriate for different ages—all while sharpening their critical thinking skills.

🎤 Yesterday, MMJH students had an inspiring assembly with guest speakers Brad Hurtig and Kevi Morse! Our Panthers learned about resilience, responsibility, and making positive choices in life. A big thank-you to both speakers for sharing their experiences and motivating our students to reach their full potential!

📏 The other day in math class, students got some hands-on practice measuring to the nearest 1/16”! Using rulers and tape measures, they worked on accuracy and then applied their measurements to solve problems with mixed numbers. A practical (and fun!) way to bring math to life!

⌨️ Did you know MMJH offers an exploratory class just for typing? Our students have been working hard to improve their skills and become more efficient at the keyboard.
📸 Today in Yearbook class, our students were busy bringing the yearbook to life! Some worked on planning out pages while others got creative with designing layouts. We can’t wait to see their hard work come together into memories that will last a lifetime!

The Staff at MMJH has been "Crushing It".so to thank them for all they do, we wheeled around our treat cart. Today's treat was a Crush can with the option of adding some flavored coffee creamer to make it a "dirty soda". We even got the PC admin to stop in.
Students in Exploratory today put their problem-solving skills to the test with some challenging puzzles. It was great to see them working hard, thinking critically, and collaborating to reach their goals.
