This year's Homecoming parade will take place on Wednesday October 8th at 6pm. Those wanting to sign up to be in this years parade must complete the attached form by Friday October 3rd. Those in the parade need to be at the fairgrounds by 5:30 to line up. The parade will follow the same route as in the past: from the Georgetown Fairgrounds, down Mill Street to Route 1, and down Route 1 to the GRHS football field. Through practice and friendly competition, they’re learning patience, problem-solving, and how to think several moves ahead.

Mrs. Balgeman's Spiral Skills class is playing Monopoly as it shows what the Gilded Age was like since one player is trying to take over everything and pushing others out. During the Gilded Age, big business leaders like Rockefeller and Carnegie did the same thing by controlling whole industries, setting prices, and becoming super rich. This made it hard for smaller businesses and regular people to compete, which caused a lot of unfair situations.
