As we wrap up Kindness Week with "The Wall of Kindness" we want to thank all students, staff & families that participated in our GRF Kindness Week. Our Drawing winners are McKinlee at Pine Crest Elementary, Aidan at MMJH, and Tiffany at GRHS. Thank you to all of the "Wall of Kindness" supporters (All GRF Administration & Staff, Christine Leeb, Darcy Vice, Laura Morgan, Sarah Runyan, Lisa Cramer, Erin Meeker, & the entire PST Team) for you help making this week happen.



Mrs. Gardner's 6th grade class has been learning about the Wright Brothers and The Power of Yet. The students have been hard at work setting both short and long term goals.








Mrs. Hughett's class has been working on animal trading cards while they finished up a reading unit about animals.





Funday Friday! Ms. Willoby and Miss Siddens 2nd graders are practicing 3 digit addition with regrouping by playing, Three in a Row:Three-Digit Addition!

GRF Food Market has been fully restocked by a few of our GRHS students. In addition, the market has a freshly stock perishable table. All GRF Families and surrounding community are welcome. Please stop by our GRF Food Market during school hours to pickup food including perishable items. Perishable items tend to go quickly.



Congratulations to our 7th Grade Lady Panther Volleyball team on taking second place in the Vermilion County Elementary School Association Volleyball Tournament! Way to go ladies!

Cole Turner got a Casey's gift card from GRHS today for being a Zero Hero with zero absences, tardies, or discipline referrals. He decided to use it to pay for some pizza for his Project Success friends.

As we continue to celebrate kindness week in GRF and Valentine's Day, Mrs. Vaughn and Mr. McCorkle write the reasons we love our people here at Pine Crest!

Ms. Willoby and Miss Siddens 2nd graders were hard at work this morning writing Valentine’s Day letters to people that they care about and love!




The youth basketball camp that was previously scheduled to begin this Saturday, 2/18, is postponed due to the Buffalo Boys Basketball team being scheduled to play in the regional tournament. The camp will begin the next Saturday, 2/25. Sorry for the inconvenience. Good luck to the Buffaloes!

The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Education Association will hold their annual Miss Piggy PINGO event on Sunday, February 12th at the Pine Crest Elementary Cafeteria. PINGO will begin at 2:00, and we promise to have you home in time for the Super Bowl game! All proceeds from PINGO will go to the GRF schools for their motivation programs.
Destination Imagination is also holding a Chicken Noodle Dinner before PINGO in the Pine Crest cafeteria. Chicken Noodles will be served from 11:00-1:00. It is a free-will donation, and all the proceeds will go towards the Destination Imagination teams' competitions. Thanks for your support of our GRF students!
