The WGR boys wrestling team went 2-2 in their pool at Abe's Rumble yesterday. They beat Litchfield and Farmington while losing to Reed-Custer and Unity. They were placed into the bronze bracket and lost to Stillman Valley in the first round. They will first face Quincy Notre Dame today. The rest of the day's competition is to be determined based off the results of today's matches. Wrestling starts overall for the tournament at 9 am. Buff Nation, the boys basketball team competes in the Heritage/Bismarck-Henning-Rossville-Alvin Holiday Tournament starting this Friday, December 26th. The Buffaloes play all of their games at Heritage High School. They play Heritage on Friday at 7 pm. On Saturday, December 27th, they play Salt Fork at 1 pm and Cerro Gordo-Bement at 5:30 pm. Thanks to some wonderful family members, friends and people within our community, Mrs. Davis' class was able to receive a holiday book and stuffed animal to enjoy this holiday season!
