In Miss Cavanaugh’s exploratory, a debate sparked after learning about the history of media literacy and how to stay savvy online! Students turned gamers into debaters, discussing video game effects, desensitization, and what games are appropriate for different ages—all while sharpening their critical thinking skills.

This year's Homecoming parade will take place on Wednesday October 8th at 6pm. Those wanting to sign up to be in this years parade must complete the attached form by Friday October 3rd. Those in the parade need to be at the fairgrounds by 5:30 to line up. The parade will follow the same route as in the past: from the Georgetown Fairgrounds, down Mill Street to Route 1, and down Route 1 to the GRHS football field. 🎤 Yesterday, MMJH students had an inspiring assembly with guest speakers Brad Hurtig and Kevi Morse! Our Panthers learned about resilience, responsibility, and making positive choices in life. A big thank-you to both speakers for sharing their experiences and motivating our students to reach their full potential!

These outstanding Panthers are being recognized for exemplifying our word of the month: Responsibility. We’re so proud of the way they lead by example in and out of the classroom!

📏 The other day in math class, students got some hands-on practice measuring to the nearest 1/16”! Using rulers and tape measures, they worked on accuracy and then applied their measurements to solve problems with mixed numbers. A practical (and fun!) way to bring math to life!
