GRHS and PipPop are hosting the 2026 Promiere this Saturday, May 2nd. It is at GRHS and starts at 3 pm. It will be a great opportunity for friends and family to get pictures before prom.
The GRHS home baseball and softball games against Armstrong-Potomac for today, April 27th have been postponed due to weather.
We are proud of Maverix and Izabellah for the hard work they have been demonstrating in the classroom. Both students earned a token for the book vending machine, and we are excited to celebrate their efforts and dedication to learning!

Good afternoon, families. Today, Monday, April 27, due to an abundance of caution with the incoming potential for severe weather, Mary Miller Junior High will be cancelling Project Success today after school.
Here are the events for GRHS for the week of April 27th - May 4th. It is Prom week so be sure to dress up following the different themes this week, only at GRHS. Be sure to wear your college gear on Monday.

The fifth grade field trip to the Georgetown Historical Society and park scheduled for tomorrow, Monday, April 27, is postponed due to the potential to hazardous weather. The fifth grade team will work on finding another date that does not overlap with other school activities. Students will need to bring a lunch or eat at school tomorrow! If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's teacher.

We are so proud of our first grade students who participated in the Danville School District First Grade Math Challenge! Our three teams placed highly and did an outstanding job showcasing the math skills and knowledge they’ve developed at Pine Crest.

🐾 MMJH Pet Exploratory Needs Your Help! 🐾
Recently, the Vermilion County Animal Shelter took in five unweaned litters of kittens in less than 24 hours and they need our help!
Our MMJH Pet Exploratory class is collecting donations to help care for these tiny kittens as they grow and get stronger. 💛
This morning, some of our students even visited classrooms to share more about the situation and encourage others to get involved!
We are looking for:
Wet cat food
Paper towels
Kitten feeding bottles
Miracle nipples for feeding bottles
Kitten Milk Replacer
If you’re able to donate, please place your items in the black crate outside the school doors.

Today in science, 2nd grade students in Mrs. Davis’ class created models of the Earth using clay and foam balls. As part of our study of Earth’s surface this week, students explored its features through a fun, hands-on activity that brought their learning to life!
The last day to buy GRHS Prom tickets is Wednesday, April 28th. Prom is on Saturday, May 2nd from 7-10 pm. Promiere will be on Saturday, May 2nd at 3 pm at GRHS.
GRFC Track team competes in the North Vermillion Invite. Field events start at 4:00. Running events start at 4:30. There will be a $5 admission fee per guest. #WEAREGRF #ALLINALLYEAR #BUFFNATIONLETSRIDE
