Scholastic Bowl celebrated the end of their season last night with an awards banquet, including a player vs. parents/coaches scrimmage (the parents/coaches won). It was a fun night that included the seniors receiving their scholastic bowl senior banners (starting a trend?). This was on top of our annual meal after regionals, which happened on March 10th at Olive Garden. Lots of great things happened last season, and looking forward to more great things next year. Thank you to all the players, especially the seniors: Weston, Liam, Maddie, Malorie, and Caleb.

Last week, the physics students at GRHS were working with an Atwood Machine. They were testing whether the theoretical time they calculated matched the experimental time for the heavier mass to hit the floor. They dropped different masses as well as needing to find the value of an unknown mass.
Reminder there will be a 1:40 dismissal on Thursday, April 17, 2025. There will be no school on Friday, April 18, 2025 in observance of Good Friday & Monday, April 21, 2025 in observance of Easter Monday. School will resume on Tuesday, April, 22, 2025.

Sixth grade is spearheading a campaign to donate to Water for South Sudan. This is the program that Salva Dut, one of the Lost Boys, created and manages to bring wells to South Sudan.
