Here are the events for the last week of school at GRHS for the 2025-26 school year! Finals start on Tuesday and check the post for the schedule. Students can leave after their last final of the day on all three days. Bus riders can stay until regular dismissal time. Thursday is an 11:25 dismissal. Baseball plays their first regional game on Monday. Boys track has state prelims on Thursday with William Runyan in the high jump. Aidan Morgan will run in the 3200m on Saturday for state track finals. We are looking forward to William making it after prelims and also competing on Saturday in the finals.

Here's what is happening at MMJH this week!

Our first grade Park Day was such a fun time! The students had a blast playing, laughing, and spending time together outside. We made so many happy memories and loved seeing all the smiles today! ☀️🛝

🗓️ Reminder: There will be no school on Monday, May 25, 2026, in observance of Memorial Day.

The countdown continues in 2nd grade! Today we celebrated the letter “A” with Art Day! 🎨🖌️ Our students had an amazing time getting creative, showing off their imagination, and making some incredible masterpieces. Art Day was a huge success, and we definitely have some future artists among us! ❤️

Sixth grade ELA is wrapping up the year by making a memory box of artifacts to represent the book Esperanza Rising. Students have to work within a set budget to "purchase" crafting supplies then work with their assigned partner or group to design and craft the items. Once the artifacts are finished, students will make a slideshow explaining each artifact and present it to the class. This project can be quite messy, but it's worth it to see the kids exercise their creative muscles and build critical thinking skills.

We are so excited to announce that our Summer Program starts on June 1st! 🌟 Enrollment forms were sent home with students. If you did not receive the form, we would be happy to send a replacement. We also have a QR Code & URL that you can use to complete an online form! 🌟 The program will run from Monday to Friday throughout June (1st-26th). Bus services for pickup and drop-off will be provided. 🌟 Please return your students enrollment forms as soon as possible.

#WeAreGRF Jordyn Fourez finished her Ag Welding Project today! It’s a wall mounted blue jeans hanger. She plans to mount it to her bedroom wall and hang her many pairs of jeans on!

Students in Mrs. Runyan’s class have truly developed a love for art this school year through our Wit & Wisdom curriculum! To celebrate their creativity and hard work, students enjoyed a fun-filled Bob Ross Paint Day. From happy little trees to colorful landscapes, their artistic talents were on full display! We definitely have some future artists on our hands! 🎨🖌️
