2nd grade classes had an amazing day exploring Staerkel Planetarium and Meadowbrook Park! Students were fully engaged in learning, made lasting memories with their friends, and represented Pine Crest Elementary with pride.

Shoutout to Rowan in Mrs. Davis’ 2nd grade class for earning a classroom book token! Rowan truly exemplifies what it means to be a role model student. She has a love for learning and is always eager to gain new knowledge. She is currently mastering multiplication and division facts through the 12s—an impressive skill that isn’t typically expected until 3rd grade!
Keep up the amazing work, Rowan—you are destined to do great things!

⚾️ Student Spotlight ⚾️
Today we’re shining the spotlight on Jase, Wesley, Gunner, Colby, and Ethan! These boys play for the Showcase Baseball Association (SBA), and most of them are in their second season with the team.
SBA is a travel baseball team—and they definitely travel far! When asked what they enjoy most about travel ball, their answers included traveling all around, staying in hotels, seeing new places, spending time with friends, stepping up to bat, and getting to explore new areas.
Of course, travel ball comes with its challenges too. The boys shared that facing stronger pitchers, staying mentally focused, keeping confidence up, competing at a higher level, and playing unfamiliar teams can all be tough—but they continue to push through and grow with every game.
We’re proud of your hard work and dedication both on and off the field. Keep it up, boys!

⭐Student Spotlight: MMJH Panthers ⭐
Shoutout to Mallory, Gemma, Aubree, Brielle, and Kinslee for their hard work on the travel volleyball team VC Power! 🏐🔥
This is their first year participating, and they’ve already been putting in the work—traveling on weekends and competing in tournaments. When asked what they love most about travel volleyball, they shared things like the exciting environment, supportive teammates, traveling together, and learning new skills.
Of course, it comes with challenges too! The girls mentioned tougher competition, playing with new teammates, and learning new rotations—but they’re rising to the challenge and growing every step of the way.
We’re proud of these Panthers for representing MMJH both on and off the court. Keep up the great work! 🐾
