Our students had an incredible experience at the Middle School Conference hosted at Richland Community College! They broke into groups and connected with more than 100 middle school FFA members from across Illinois. Throughout the day, students competed in mini CDEs, learned to line dance, and tackled a variety of team challenges alongside their new friends.
It was an amazing opportunity for them to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form friendships they’ll carry with them throughout their FFA careers.

Some of our FFA members have been busy these last few days...
On Wednesday night they were at Lincoln Land Community College for a Dairy Foods CDE!
Yesterday they traveled from Georgetown, IL to Georgetown, Ky to visit Kentuckiana Standardbred Horse Farm, then on to the North American International Livestock Expo Rodeo!
On the horse farm they got the chance to meet the owner and learn about his humble beginnings to having many champions, Horse of the Year, and selling the only two, Million dollar yearlings in history!
Today they go to NAILE at the Kentucky Expo Center & Fairgrounds to see the livestock and do some shopping!

With Monday supposedly being the 67th day of school, the GRHS staff were going to turn it on the kids and make it a 6-7 day. The e-learning day messed that up, but the staff decided to go ahead and do it today. Unfortunately, we lost audio in most of the clips, but hopefully you can enjoy it.
