Georgetown-Ridge Farm School District's Soft Lockdown Update. Law Enforcement has addressed the threat against an employee. The soft lockdown is lifted. The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Schools are currently under a soft lockdown following a threat made toward a school employee by an individual.
A soft lockdown means that students and staff will remain inside their buildings during the school day. The regular school schedule and activities will continue as usual. All exterior doors are being closely monitored.
Local law enforcement has been notified and will remain present at our schools for the remainder of the day. Officers will also be monitoring dismissal.
These precautionary measures are being taken out of an abundance of caution. The safety and security of our students and staff is our highest priority, and we take all threats seriously.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work with law enforcement to ensure a safe school environment for everyone.

The Georgetown Ridge-Farm High School Homecoming parade will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd starting at 6:00 P.M. Anyone that is participating in the parade will need to report to the fairgrounds at 5:30 P.M. If there are any groups or organizations that are wanting to join please email Mrs. Henderson or Mr. Wills.
