🥎 ⭐ STUDENT SPOTLIGHT ⭐ 🥎
This week’s Student Spotlight shines on Kinslee, Myah, Molly, Mallory, Brielle, Abby W., and Abby P. for their dedication and love for rec league softball!
Most of these girls have been playing since their T-ball days and have continued growing their skills and passion for the game over the years. When asked what they enjoy most about softball, they shared that they love the competition, playing with friends, learning new skills, connecting with teammates, and having fun — even when mistakes happen.
The girls also talked about some of the challenges that come with the sport, including rainouts, getting through slumps, staying out of their heads, and competing against tougher teams. Through it all, they continue to work hard, support one another, and show great sportsmanship both on and off the field.
We are proud of these student-athletes for their teamwork, perseverance, and positive attitudes. Keep up the great work, ladies!

🌟 Spotlight Student: Lilee 🌟
Lilee has been competing in pageants since 3rd grade and has loved the experience of meeting people from all around and making new friends along the way. One of the most challenging parts for her is the formal wear competition because it requires walking slowly and confidently, even when feeling nervous.
Lilee is currently serving as the American Elegance Pageant Preteen Miss, and we are so proud of her accomplishments and dedication. Congratulations, Lilee! 👑

Congrats to our Envirothon team! They earned first place in Vermilion County this year! Way to go!

Today, 2nd grade students in Mrs. Davis’ class continued their countdown with the letter “C” by bringing in cookies to share with friends! 🍪
This activity tied perfectly into our math lesson on partitioning shapes into equal shares. Students had fun using their cookies to represent halves and fourths while applying their learning in a hands-on way! Learning is always sweeter when cookies are involved!
