Here are the events for GRHS for the week of August 10-16. At the high school on Wednesday, only freshman will attend school. All students will attend on Thursday. The football Powerade game is on Friday.

First Day of School for the 26/27 School Year...

Carle Mobile Health Full Service, Walk-In Clinic – including Back-to-School Physicals & Vaccines!

Carle’s Mobile Health Clinic will be at First Church of Christ to offer healthcare for entire families. School/Sports Physicals and vaccines for the upcoming school year will be offered. This health clinic is open to the Georgetown and surrounding communities, please stop by this health clinic.

August 14, 2026 – 9am-2pm - 503 N Main Street, Georgetown (will be parked at Fellowship Hall)

Carle’s Mobile Health Clinic will host an event at First Church of Christ in Georgetown on 8/14/2026 to provide full-service healthcare for the entire family. Carle’s Mobile Market will be attending with fresh and health produce at low-cost. To schedule an appointmnet call Carle Mobile Health Services at (217) 383-3311.

2026–2027 GRHS Athletic Passes Now Available!

Get ready to support your Buffaloes!
26/27 Season Athletic Passes are now available for purchase in the GRHS main office.

Your athletic pass covers entry to ALL GRHS home athletic events for the entire school year! Stop by the office to grab yours before the year starts!

GRFC Buffaloes high school football practice starts tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5th at 4:30 pm. There will be a parent meeting after practice this Friday at 7 pm.

Players will need helmets, cleats, shorts, and shirts for the first two days. If you have not got a helmet yet, you must be there at 4 pm to get a helmet. These are mandatory practices and a player needs 12 practices to play in their first game. The first game is August 21st at Momence.

Cost: $25
Bonus: Half of all proceeds ($12.50 per physical) will be donated directly to the GRHS Athletic Boosters to support our student-athletes!

Pine Crest is hiring a recess monitor to help out once our school year gets started! This is a two hour position from 10:45-12:45. You will be going with each grade level to recess whether that is inside or outside.
