Hi GRF Parents, GRF Parent Support Team (PST) Meeting - Did you know that when children understand their emotions better, they are more likely to be able to control their anger and develop healthier relationships? Join us for dinner and discussion on emotions and cleaning hacks tomorrow night--Wednesday, March 13th from 5:30pm - 7:30pm at the Georgetown Library. The dental clinic will be April 11th during the school day. They accept whatever private insurance or Medicaid pays and will turn no student away due to inability to pay. All 6th and 9th graders have a mandatory dental exam due by May 15th. It is open to grades 6-12. Forms must be turned in by this Friday and if not enough interest the dental clinic will be cancelled. All students and parents were emailed a form last week and hard copies are available in both the JH and HS office.
Unfortunately, the Lady Buffs softball game at Arcola scheduled for tonight has been canceled.

We hope to see you all tonight from 5pm - 8pm to cheer on our GRF Archers and have some fun for the whole family. Reminder to save the date for prom on April 27th. Promiere is put on by the parents of juniors and/or seniors. Currently, we do not have any parent volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mr. Thomas as soon as possible. If we do not get any volunteers, there will be no Promiere.

Come out and support our archers at the Buffalo Stampede Archery Tournament at GRHS this weekend. The archery team has raffle baskets and there will be food vendors. All of the money will help support the archery program.
Georgetown-Ridge Farm High School and Mary Miller Junior High Festival of the Bands concert for the 2023-2024 school year.
We have wrapped up Kindness Week with "The Wall of Kindness" and want to thank all students, staff & families that participated in our GRF Kindness Week. Our Drawing winners are Gauge at Pine Crest Elementary, Jameson at MMJH, and Jordyn at GRHS. Thank you to all of the "Wall of Kindness" supporters (All GRF Administration & Staff, Christine Leeb, Darcy Vice, Sarah Runyan, Lisa Cramer, Erin Meeker, Trent Eisenbarth & the entire PST Team) for helping make this week happen.
The 4th graders in Mrs. Thorman/Mrs. Douglass's class had a GLOW DAY to review for the upcoming IAR test! They reviewed angles and geometry, word problems, text structure, and practiced informative writing!
