Here are the events for the first week of school for GRHS. Please be aware that Wednesday is 9th grade attendance only for GRHS. All students at Pine Crest and MMJH must attend. The first day for all GRHS students is Thursday. Don't forget sports practices started on Monday. Make sure you are going, so that you don't get behind on learning and practice numbers to compete.

We’re excited to share our dismissal routes to help keep everyone safe and efficient!
🔹 Car Rider Line:
• Yellow Arrows – Follow these to enter the car rider line.
Once you enter the gravel lot, please split into two lines
• Red Arrows– 1st–5th grade pick-up is at the front of the school.
• Blue Arrows– Kindergarten, 4th grade, and sibling car riders pick-up is at the woodchips.
🔹 Walker Dismissal:
• Pink Arrows – Follow these routes for walker dismissal. A staff member will walk these students to the stop sign at the edge of our property.
📌 Reminders:
• Walkers dismissed at 2:15 PM, followed by car and bus riders.
• Please do not arrive before 2:10 PM for car rider pick-up.
• PreK Parents – Use the yellow arrows to the red arrow. Pick-up starts at 2:30 PM—please wait until then to arrive.

The Georgetown-Ridge Farm-Chrisman Buffaloes high school football team starts practice today at 3:45 at GRHS. Anyone interested in playing should show up to practice, even if you were not at any of the summer practices. Make sure to have athletic shoes and cleats and bring your helmet. If you do not have a helmet yet, a coach will get you one before practice. You must have a physical to be able to practice. You must have 12 practices to be able to compete in your first game.

REMINDER - Carle Mobile Health Clinic will be at the Georgetown First Church of Christ (501 S. Main St., Georgetown, IL 61846) at the ministry center TODAY as an open clinic for walk-ins to anyone in the Georgetown Ridge Farm area and surrounding communities. School Physicals and Immunizations will be given to those students whose parents signed them up and scheduled an appoint during school registration or at the school building offices. The clinic will be open today from 9am - 2pm based on appointment availability. Please bring current Medicaid or health insurance card with you to the appointment. You can call the school nurses and schedule an appointment for your student if they are needing a physical or immunization. You can also show up today to check for availability, but student's with appointments will be seen first. Thank you.

The food market is open 9:30 am - 3pm on Friday with low-cost fresh fruits and vegetables for anyone in the community to purchase.

Thank you to everyone from GRF Maintenance that cleaned up the Tom Kulbartz Nature Preserve. They got it ready for cross country to practice and classes to use if they so choose. Also, any tall people or creatures making their way out there really appreciate the minimal ducking needed to make it around. It is definitely Mr. Tate approved.
