5th grade headed out to Forest Glenn today for their maple syrup tour. It looks like everyone had a really great time! Love seeing kids out in nature and smiling.








Reminder - the end of third quarter is Friday, March 10, 2023. Any missing work needs to be turned in before that date.
Report cards will go home with students on Wednesday, March 15th.
Parent Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, March 15th and Thursday, March 16th from 4 to 7 p.m.

Our Varsity Scholastic Bowl Team is doing well this season after two matches. Next week they compete against Bismark and Armstrong-Potomac on Monday. Keep up the great work!

Continuing to celebrate FFA Week! Wednesday students played Hungry Hungry Hippos and wore Red, White, and Blue.






Mr. Thomas and Mr. Cavanaugh attended the Job Fair at Illinois State University today to recruit new teachers to our district. #WeAreGRF


GRHS student council members are preparing for our annual Easter egg fundraiser.
If you have any gently used plastic eggs that you are willing to part with, please bring them to the high school office before spring break (March 16).

Congrats to the Parliamentary Procedure Team on winning the section contest tonight! Way to go!


Mr. Thomas, high school principal, made a visit to Pine Crest this week for Read Across America Week along with a friendly Buffalo.



Today for Read Across America week, some of our 4th grade students were able to read to some of our 1st grade students.





Last week, second grade went to Forrest Glenn to learn all about how they harvest sap to make maple syrup.



Don't forget that tomorrow is our next sticker shop! Your student can get two stickers for a quarter. Come check out what awesome stickers you could score tomorrow morning!

Rylan Mosier earned All VVC Scholastic Bowl and All VVC Tournament Team this evening. Way to go Rylan! We are proud of you.


The Lady Panthers killed it tonight at their regionals! They play tomorrow in St.Joseph at 6:30.








Today for FFA Week students dressed up as Country or Country Club and particpated in either corn hole or hog tie races. Thanks Miss Hayes for organizing these great activities!
