Mrs. Davis’ 2nd graders have been busy exploring materials and their properties in Science! Through hands-on learning, students discovered why engineers must experiment, test, and rethink their ideas when designing something new. After putting on their “engineer hats,” students worked collaboratively to design and build their own bridges using the materials available to them. They carefully considered strength, stability, and structure as they created their unique designs. We are so proud of their creativity, problem-solving skills, and perseverance. Check out their amazing bridge creations!
